Large format banners for events; building and marketing projects come in a variety of different material and attachment options

Building Wrap Materials

The first choice we offer our customers is a choice of material for the building wrap graphics. Available choices include PVC mesh and front-lit PVC.

PVC Mesh – The preferred choice when considering large format banners for projects where wind-loads and installation safety are of primary importance (like in projects where entire buildings are to be wrapped or when very large applications necessitate high scaffolding. In essence, the tiny perforations within the mesh allow for easy flow of air through the fabric, which subsequently reduces the loads placed onto both the wrap and the building or structure it is wrapped around.

Front-lit PVC – Stretch-free to provide long-term stability and featuring a a special surface coating with a semi-gloss finish for optimal ink adhesion; colour reproduction and long-lasting, luminescent graphics, front’lit PVC is most suitable for installation to building facades.

Both materials are flame-retardant and weather (frost, rain and UV light), as well as puncture, fade and scratch; wrinkle and fold resistant. Specially prepared for seaming, both materials also repel pollution and wash clean in water.

Large Format Banner Attachment

Attachment options consist of scaffold or wire frame and eye bolt systems.

Scaffold System – Here, the building wrap is attached to either an existing or especially set-up scaffold.

Wire Frame System – Wire frames designed specifically for the purpose of wrapping buildings are less intrusive and more cost-effective than scaffolding. They are suitable for attachment directly to buildings or to existing scaffolding.

Eye-Bolt System – Almost perfectly invisible, eye-bolt systems enable hanging of building wraps without the need for scaffolding or wire frames. This type of attachment system is most suitable for installation of a single large advertising banner for building facades.

Installation Methods

Large format construction site, event or building wraps are attached to the scaffold, wire frame or building by teams using either a crane or rope access (abseiling). Adhering to relevant health & safety standards and procedures at all times, our abseiling teams have the necessary skills to erect your wrap quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.
