Site Survey and Erection of Building Site Hoardings

Site Survey and Erection of Building Site Hoardings

In order to ensure your building site hoarding perfectly matches your requirements, we will begin by undertaking a thorough survey of the site where the hoarding is to be installed.

This involves establishing the required perimeter length of the construction hoarding and, as it is highly unlikely that the ground on your site is perfectly flat, detailed ground gradient measurements.

Other required information

We will also need to know:

  • Your site manager/ other key site personnel
  • Other relevant site information, like road closures or restricted access, for example
  • Whether you will be designing the graphics for your site hoarding; will be using a design agency or wish a concept to be produced for you by our design team

Once all this and any other relevant information has been gathered, we will provide you with the necessary detailed working drawings in readiness for the design of the artwork and a detailed quote for the cost of work to be required.

Installation

Installation of your site hoarding by our expert team will commence by the erection of a plywood framework (strengthened by horizontal rails), the posts of which will be secured by concrete at regular intervals.

Graphics

Having assisted you in the design of and printed your site hoarding graphics, we will then install them by securing them along the bottom and top edges and using purpose designed fixing brackets on the reverse to prevent damaging or spoiling the graphics in any way.

Headers and Kickers

Your construction hoarding is then finished using painted kickers and headers designed to cover staggered graphics panels and face fixings.
